Action for Palm Sunday

Tornado action in Thomasville... Look, even the Gnomes were scared, they laid down. Or actually they were blown over. Here are some pictures from High Point today. I could not get into where it was really bad. They had traffic blocked so no one could get in. Which I really dont know if I could have gotten in, if I would have taken pictures. Maybe when I can get in there and people are somewhat back to normal.





This is off of Westover in HighPoint. It barely missed us here in Thomasville.Whew. Ken says we were very lucky.. We had the wind but not the funnel. Thank goodness.

We are Back....

Well... Our trips are always eventful.. So let me tell you about this one..

First our plane was delayed in Gso. Then our plane was delayed in Clt.

We get to Tampa.

We go to the game on Sunday. The Yanks came out and looked great during practice. Too bad we did not get to see them play. It poured rain. Cancelled. We were sad. So we traveled 400 miles to go to the aquarium. It was nice. on a rainy day. I. Guess.

Monday we went to Clearwater to the Philly stadium and we saw them play there. It was good. Of course there were no starters there that day but thats alright. We came home today and we are two tired puppies. Enjoy the pictures.

Tampa here we come AGAIN....

I swear I feel like we go nowhere else but Tampa. So... ( in the tune of Wizard of Oz) we are off again to see the Yankees, the wonderful Yankees of NewYork..because because because becasue BECAUSE of the wonderful players they have... YOu know Picrures will follow.. Stay tuned... I have a good April Fools is it going to be fools or April not so fools...???

Cold Weekend at the beach

Holden Beach this weekend was very very cold!
We went to the beach one day for about 3 minutes... I got these pictures..












I didnt get any pictures of the side porch. I meant to but I didnt.. Ill have those for you next time!
Dirty Dancing has to be one of the greatest movies ever. "I carried a watermelon" I wanted to be like Jennifer Grey. I cut off atleast 3 pair of jeans to be jean shorts, long ones like what she wore in the movie.. I even had my hair like that.. WHEW...1987. It wasnt that long agao was it..

Went to see Rodney carrington last night. He was so funny! Ken and I enjoyed it.

Maybe getting some more winter weather... we will see.

Pound Dog struck again....

Well Well... Holly the Pound dog has struck again....She has yup you guessed it Heartworms.
Nice huh?! Poor puddin tang..... We take her for treatment first thing tomorrow morning and the treatment is for 3 days.
Hopefully we only will need to do one treatment and not another one.

Went to the Roller Derby Game Friday night.. Will post pictures of it when I get my computer back. It has something wrong with it.. I hopefully will get it back tomorrow.

And here is what our snow looked lie about 1 hr ago.. I bet we have close to 1 inch or more right now on the deck... I dont think it is sticking on the streets as of now...Maybe I will get a day off of work tomorrow? hmmmmm........





Ya'll have fun a the beach Enjoy the snow down there!! Take some pictures of snow on the beach for me.. We are playing the Wii right now and arent all that impressed.. Ken is getting the sniffles and well that is not good.. So I will be sleeping upstairs and he will be down here.. Of course Im disinfecting EVERYTHING! See you soon!

Busy Days.....

We had an exciting night last night.. Ken was on Tv from when he went to Tampa for the Yankee Camp. He did super and Im uber proud of him! Just in case you missed it on Fox news last night here it is!!



As of right now we are finally snow free. In 1 week we have had 7 inches of snow and another inch Friday morning. Ugh.. Im over it...

Tomorrow is Superbowl.. Who are we going to pull for....

I personally would like to see the Colts win it.. So we will see.. I think the Colts will have it by 13 points... Im just saying...

Went to Mimis Cafe tonite for supper and Im stuffed.. I had the:You guessed it.. the Chicken Pot Pie.. ABOSOLUTLEY FABULOUS!!!!


Ken had the Grilled Meatloaf.. He said his was Very pleased..


Last but not least This is what I came home from work to find:

Yeah... EIther Casey or Holly chose my book to tear up and destroy. Ken found half of it in Holly's mouth carring it around the house and the other half sitting outside buried in the snow.. The other half I was going to just let dry out and finish reading it, BUT since they took the last 18 pages and tore those to shreds I thought hmmm I should get another book... Rotten Dogs.... Now would you look at this...

I have been doing J's hair since she was in Highschool, along with her family members and I have to say that her and her her family have become part of mine too.
