Well our second day with Holly has been productive. After the 3:30 letting out and the 7:30 letting out she has done fine. She will not eat dry dog food so slick me went to the store and got some wet food to mix with the dry food. Slick Holly ate all the wet food and spit out alot of the dry food. Casey our human/dog vacuum cleaner took care of the floor for me. She has finally laid down on one of the beds and she has quite a little hoard of toys.. her Bear, a bone, and if Casey gets near it she runs her off. It is quite entertaining. She went to the door earlier all by her self and so we let her out ( we will teach the doggie door later ) she did her business and came back in. It is SOAKING wet outside so of course the kitchen floor is a mess. Oh also I am proud to report that she drank some water earlier!! Yeah!!! She likes us she really likes us. Ill like her better when she can be a self sufficient doggie. Right now I have to get used to her, so my allergies are HAYWIRE!!!!! I dont think she has ever seen TV before poor thing.. she keeps looking at it and then just a minute ago there were some dogs barking and she shot up and went barking at the other dogs. hahahahah Too funny.

Nice cold rainy day to do nothing. Im making pinto beans to eat tonite with the pork loin I have with Carrots and Potatoes. yummy Then later in the week Ill have some pork chops and Applesauce....

Look at what Ken brought home from the pound today. Hahahahahaa she just pooped on the floor.. hahahah as I was sitting here typing!! hahahahahahahaha now she is outside. Kenny has his hands full.... Oh my....... Ken took her outside. We forget I guess, that all dogs dont know how to use the doggie door we have to go out side to shit... It smells like SHIT in here... but isnt she adorable?

Seriously.. Sorry Ken.. But I think I want to go to Atlanta Ga on July 1st to see Il Divo preform at the Fox Theater. Would you care to go with me? I think Ken is the bestest looking man around.. but wowsers... Of Course I think only 1 of them is the hottest.. they can really sing very well.. Ill see if I can get an upload.. I got this on an email earlier today..

Maybe this will be a mother daughter trip.. But seriously if I go with her Im buying the back stage tour and you KNOW I know my way around a tour bus! HAHAHAHAAAAA I crack me up! I do though.. I have never done anything on a tour bus to be ashamed of so there for kiss it for thinking that I had!

Im back to my old template self.. I tried out some new ones over the last week but nothing really struck my fancy.

At the Girls night Lorraine, I brought a wine Brique, and I took nothing!! SHHHHHHHHH dont tell Catherine. Im trying to get rid of crap! I have a whole house filled with crap. Craigs list, in the next couple of months is going to be my best friend!

Im weeding through some pictures today to put into a photo contest. It should be fun!! yippee.. when I enter them Ill print them out so you can see. Its for Our State mag. The contest ends in April. Its nothing that we can vote for, I send my pictures in and they who ever they are votes. Wish me luck!

We had a good time.. Catherine had all the girls over last night, and then we brought something that was gently used to trade. Some brought jewelry and purses and candles.. We had a good time last night!

Duke visit and Casey's new dog.

Casey's new doggie.. She takes it everywhere. All we have to say is " wheres your doggie " and she goes and gets it.. She is precious!! Just precious!

I do hope that everyone who celebrated Valentines Day had a good one yesterday!
We on the other hand went out to eat at Aquaria. It was very tasty! I had MahiMahi with grilled Asparagus, a salad, and a Thai Shrimp Cocktail that we all shared! Except for Ken he had a crab cake, which he said was wonderful. Mom made a toast to new beginnings and even though hes gone we have memories. Then I said yeah the pool is coming into the back yard next week! hahahahahahaha Here it is:

Seriously, Even though people are gone from our lives, for one reason or another, We must pull together to keep their memory alive. Put on our big girl panties, and try to live the rest of our life somewhat happy. Thats what they would have wanted. There comes a time for letting go and last night when mom didnt cry during the toast that was her time. Although we all still cry, I think we are at peace with it a little more. We know that Corbin is up there entertaining him, probably dancing around the tv so that he cant watch it he has to watch her instead! HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA!!! I bet he has a tattoo now.... Mom what do you think Ill get one with you!
