Im weeding through some pictures today to put into a photo contest. It should be fun!! yippee.. when I enter them Ill print them out so you can see. Its for Our State mag. The contest ends in April. Its nothing that we can vote for, I send my pictures in and they who ever they are votes. Wish me luck!
We had a good time.. Catherine had all the girls over last night, and then we brought something that was gently used to trade. Some brought jewelry and purses and candles.. We had a good time last night!
Casey's new doggie.. She takes it everywhere. All we have to say is " wheres your doggie " and she goes and gets it.. She is precious!! Just precious!

We on the other hand went out to eat at Aquaria. It was very tasty! I had MahiMahi with grilled Asparagus, a salad, and a Thai Shrimp Cocktail that we all shared! Except for Ken he had a crab cake, which he said was wonderful. Mom made a toast to new beginnings and even though hes gone we have memories. Then I said yeah the pool is coming into the back yard next week! hahahahahahaha Here it is:
Seriously, Even though people are gone from our lives, for one reason or another, We must pull together to keep their memory alive. Put on our big girl panties, and try to live the rest of our life somewhat happy. Thats what they would have wanted. There comes a time for letting go and last night when mom didnt cry during the toast that was her time. Although we all still cry, I think we are at peace with it a little more. We know that Corbin is up there entertaining him, probably dancing around the tv so that he cant watch it he has to watch her instead! HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA!!! I bet he has a tattoo now.... Mom what do you think Ill get one with you!
After a wonderful 70' day, we headed to the slopes for some snow!! It was AWESOME!!! I had so much fun and I hae the bug to go back out west. Enjoy the pics.. Im pooped...Kenny is coming with me next time. He could be there today because he had to work. He'll say he wasnt invited but he was. Get ready Ken..Colorado here we come!!

about Valentines Day. Oh you dont well let me tell yah!! I think it is a worthless holiday that should be forgotten. If your special someone cant show you some love on any other day then Valentines day there is something wrong. There are 364 other days in the year that you can show love. I do however love stuff like this.. this has my humor all over it!

Well I didnt have anything to do this morning so I painted the bathroom. Ya'll I had my "Paint the wall" mode. Daniel LaRusso has nothing on me. I can paint a wall.. he just waxed some cars, painted a fence, sand a floor, and he painted a house... Whatever... I painted a bathroom!! haahahha It is fairly easy and it takes no time at all.. Im not a picky person when it comes to crap like that... If you want it to look professional hire one.. I do it for free!! It looks rather nice... I got all the stuff on sale at Peir 1 and Khols. CLEARENCE is the name of the game.. Its amazing what you can find at multiple clearence sections of different stores.. Now next month when I have some more bathroom bucks Ill be thinking of what to paint the other upstairs bathroom! Leave the comments and let me know.. Ill pull a Lorraine and throw a poll up there!
We had some snow last night that stopped. It then got cold, so what moisture was on the ground got cold. There was a little black ice that the news says will be gone as soon as the sun came out. "It should all be gone by 10am when the air is warmed by the sun and in turn that will warm the streets". OKay so why are the kiddies out of school today????? All the other counties surrounding us are on a 2 hr delay.... not us..

Today is February 1st. The first day of the month that I have dreaded for the last 11. Today is SUPERBOWL Sunday!! Last year as you know, the beloved Ny Giants were playing the New England Patriots, and we were sick as dogs! Oh my goodness let me tell you. It was the worst I have felt in a very very long time. I hope I dont get sick like that again.JUst in case that you forgot
Anyhoo.. Lets pull togehter today and cheer on the Cardinals. I hope that it is a good SuperBowl and not a boring one!
