My Birthday boy... he is 1 and about to walk everywhere. He lets go now and walks from the cabinets to the fridge... Its about 7 steps. I'm so proud of him. After he walks over he looks back at me and the smile on his little chubby face is priceless... I cry as I sit here and type this. It is adorable!

Our little 70's baby... He had cloth diapers with rubber pants over top. A white collared shirt on and for laughs we put Ken's wig on him.

Dont worry there was no beer in that bottle. This was the only way we could get him to be in a good mood. You see, if he has something that he KNOWS he is not supposed to have he is happy... So its harmless...an empty beer bottle = happy baby for the photo oppurtunity...

After 4 days of sleep, swallowing lightly,not eating much, 102 fever, sleeping more, I think by goodness the dreadful supervirus has started to pack up and leave the house!! YaY!!!
This is for Papa, Nana, and Nona! ( really it is for everyone but I figured they like to see their names on the blog every once in a while ) I filmed this on Sunday morning after all our medication was taken. Henry was in a surprisingly good mood! Here he is making his "flutter lip" debut!! I have this client of mine that brings me a coke in a glass bottle when she comes in to get her hair done. Man I tell you what there is just something about Coke-a-cola from a glass bottle that is just down right awesome! Some choose to pour a pack of peanuts in it, although it is good, I however, do not like it as much because it makes the peanuts a tad soggy. Not my thing..

Im starting the preperations on the little guys 1st birthday. Now Im not one of these moms who goes all out for birthdays. But this is his first one and it is his golden birthday.
For those of you who dont know what a Golden Birthday is, it is the day you were born and the number of years you are. Henry will be 1 on the 1st!
So exciting things getting ready to happen for that... Ill keep it quiet... you will find out in due time!

Ok I am back. I had to get Henry before he pulled the vacuum cleaner down on himself. WHEW.... No he is just trying to get Kens computer off the couch... life is grand! He certainly keeps us on our toes! Everything that was once on the coffee table is now up on the couches, the mantle, and in a box out of reach of little nosey Henry! He is literally into EVERYTHING! He likes his toys but gets bored. He likes daddy's remote controller that he knows he isn't to play with but somehow he still tries. OK enough about that on to blogging...

WELL.... First off we have some family living over in England right now! I hope they are reading this blog because these pictures will be for you Rebecca!!

It was Ken's birthday on the 17th. SO for his birthday I got him a beach house. I know I know... we already have one but I got him one anyways. It was ocean front, and he had a ball sitting on the porch that was covered, with the ocean breeze on his face. NOT to mention it was awesome for me because I had some major beach time that I had been missing out on. Enjoy the pictures.. Now it just seems we are working for the weekend when we can go back again!

This was the moon our first night there. It was absolutely beautiful!

This was great! I brought a little baby pool down with me and sat him in that. No sand rash for Henry!!! He loved it the water came over top and filled the little pool right on up. It was great!

Henry is now in his little crate and I can have a chance to type away on my little machine. The TV is off. The dogs are snoring and the only thing I have to worry about right now is wondering if the mesh is going to give away when Henry tries to stick his face through.

Everyone wants pictures of Andrew's graduation party. Here they are. Andrew was a great hit. Rebbecca had a terrific birthday. Henry, has taken all week to get back to normal, because for 3 days while he was up there, he has thought he was reason people were breathing. Oh my goodness...

Well this week has been tiring! We caught a little "Jerry" that had a hay day running thru my pantry, the pantry in the bathroom and underneath in the cabinets. Nice... I have disinfected everything so far. Tomorrow's feat will be the cabinets.. Thanks Ken!!! Ill put the dishes away when I get home.

I made a yummy cobbler tonite from a friends recipe! Here goes:

1c sugar
1c milk
Fruit to your liking and however much you want in it!

Guess who is now sitting up in his crib and holding on to the railing trying to pull himself up?? YOU GOT IT!!! It is none other then the sly est of them all... Henry!!!!!! He is a sneaky one too! Last night I had to go up there because he awoke about 3am. There he was sitting up in his bed smiling at me! I didn't know whether to be pissed or happy! Tonite we lowered his crib so he cant try to climb out!

Lots of things happening... True Blood starts Sunday!! YAY!!! I literally cannot wait!! I'm so excited!

So Henry has his new favorite toy! Out of all the toys we have for Hank, he loves his daddy's leg. He just laughs and slaps on it.
Hank is getting 4 teeth on top. At once. All at the same time. Tylenol, IBU and Hylands teething gel are my favorite products ever. Although, a frozen waffle does great. It feels good on his gums. Plus it has nice pockets in the waffle for the drool!

It was a truly B-e-a-U-tIfUl weekend!!! I got my first and only burn of the season and from now on you can call me SaVagE!!! yeah baby... I'm going to post some various pictures of the weekend plus a video. I'm sure you all are far more interested in what Henry did this weekend rather then read my rants! I will say before I upload these pictures... Memorial Day is about remembering those who have fallen fighting for our freedom! Thank you to all those who are serving and who have served. It is because of these men and women that I can go to the beach for the weekend!
Now this is a new thing for us. I have been trying for the past week to get him to do this every time he screams so that I can put my hand over his mouth! Hank loves watermelon! He should, I ate plenty last summer!!!

Cheez Doodles. This snack is so tasty. I just love it when you put one of these beauties in your mouth and, crunch, it really just melts in your mouth, so I thought. Catherine turned me on to this delicious snack! Um there is no comparison to these.
I at first wasnt impressed with them but, the more I ate of them the more I found myself wanting more. I dream about these. Holy Santa Claus!!! If you have not tried these you must!

Henry does have to wear a helmet! He is going to be the cutest little boy ever! When we get it, I will post pictures of him in it!!!

His face after the Spaghetti

My child may be Irish on the outside, but he is Italian on the inside! He loved the Spaghetti tonite. We are off to the doctor tomorrow to see a specialist for Henry. His head is a little flat in the back and well it is starting to have an impact on his facial features. When I called 4 months ago I was told that he was too young and that I had to be referred by his doctor and I could never get a referral because she said he wasn't old enough. You know Ill take a picture of my monkey if he gets a handsome helmet!!! Went to McDonald's the other day. The bill was $4.69. I started to give her a 20 and then I realized I had a 5 dollar bill. I gave her that instead. You would have thought the world ended. She seriously could not give me change. All I needed back was 31c. She gave me 34c and told me to have a nice day. She was really confused about who much change to give back. I played it off and gave her her 3c back and said aww I think these 3 pennies snuck out... I don't want you to be short on this register. She thanked me and told me that her manager would have not liked that she miss counted.. WHAT???? What ever happened to the Fisher Price cash register. Lorraine I think had one or it could have been Debbie but I remember playing on that thing for a long time. Do they still make those.. I need to invest in one for Henry for when he gets a little older.

Henry is now sitting in the bath chair while he takes his bath. I personally think he likes to lay down still... the splashing is better!

In like a lamb out like an elephant on a stampede because of a mouse! Good gracious it is busy! We had Tampa baseball, Savannah, Baltimore, Shower, Wedding 1,2,and 3. Ugh No rest for us til the 23rd of May. I am sorry that I have been slow with the pictures.. I will upload as many as I can tonite and then I will upload more tomorrow! While we were in Tampa we went to Orlando to Magic Kingdom. Henry loved it. He loved the rides especially Pirates of the Caribbean. I think the little waterfall we went down was his favorite.. he was smiling! The Peter Pan ride was good too. He loved looking at the lights! We ate supper at the Rain Forest Cafe and he fed himself! Ohhhh my baby feeding himself I don't like it!
While we were in Tampa, we ran into some family! It was nice seeing them and we cant wait for the wedding in October!!!

WE had a good time on the bed today for tummy time. He rolled over for me on the bed, hasn't done it since. This is the first time since Friday that he has rolled over. I clap and clap and say good job, put him on his tummy to do it again and well NOTHING. Its like he is saying "yeah right I did it once and I'm not doing it again."
Ill get more pictures up as I take them. I thought that I would be a picture taking fool with him but I just don't have time. He gets cranky too quick! Speaking of cranky... gotta go! Enjoy the pictures!

You ever get so mad at electronics you cant see straight? AHHHHH that is where I'm at right now. I wanted to send out my picture of little man in my "I hate Valentines Valentine", and I cant paste a picture any longer to an email. It sends it as an attachment... WHAT???? UGHHHHH why do we like these little machines that do nothing but piss me off? If this machine was a human I would not even be friends with it. Unless, it did everything I wanted it too. UGHHHHHH If I cant get it to work right you all may be getting an attachment email instead of a nice picture email! I want to do this to my puter sometimes

but I don't... Ill get it working right I hope OR else!

We have a busy busy next 3 months!! We got our tickets for Yankee Spring Training games. We got tickets for a baseball game in Baltimore to see the Yankee's play the Orioles, I have the Savannah trip, We have weddings and weddings and MORE weddings!! Henry has an outfit for the occasion! I got a super cute outfit from one of my friends yesterday!! TOO CUTE FOR WORDS. A picture is going to be much better. HE will be wearing that outfit today so a picture will follow!!

Another Valentines approaches. Dont worry the 15th of February will be here in no time. Am I the only one that truly hates this holiday? I have never liked it. I think it is a huge waste of good trees. The chocolate candy is about the only thing good about Valentines day. Maybe its just me, but I think you should show your love for someone all the time.. not just 1 time a year. I dont need 1 day to be special, that is what my wedding day is for. This is Johnny Jump Up. it stunk, we took it back. Little man was coming out of it.. Plus I really didnt trust it.

This is what we hear NON STOP because Henry LOVES his exersaucer.... He turns the pages on his book, he bounces and every time he does the song comes on.... Quite cute!

This week, we have started giving Henry veggies!! HE loves the Acorn Squash, the Green Beans, not so much. He kind of gags when we feed it to him. Well I fed them to him last night and he gagged but I think that was because they were not warmed! He loves his morning oatmeal! Lately though he has been getting up like at 5ish instead of 6ish. We got spoiled there for a while and when his RSV hit it threw him all off schedule!! Dumb Virus!

So 7 things about myself are as follows....

1. I love coffee from a percolator! I recently got one and I absolutely love it!
2. I have to sleep on 100% cotton pillow cases. They also have to have a certain feel to them, I know I'm crazy...
3. I have to have lipstick on 100% of the time.
4. I love cooking, I, before the family, wanted to go out to Montana and cook for all the ranch hands and fall madly in love with the owner of the ranch. OR maybe that was a book I read, anyhoo.. hehe
5. I love taking pictures and if I could I would LOVE to go around and take pictures and sell them!
6. I don't have alot of Girlfriends, But the ones I have are very close to me! I cherish them always! I was never one of those girls to have like a ton of girls to be friends.. I'm a guys gal! Girls are a little too drama-ie....
7. I love it when Henry falls asleep on me. I know I should go put him down so he doesn't get used to being held, BUT I hold on too him for a little bit, Then I go put him down! I cant help it.. he is just so CUTE!

Holy Cow GUMBALLS!!!! What a wild 2 weeks we have had. 1st Ken was working 2nd shift at work which had us all confused. 2nd Ken had a HUGE case at work and that threw us off 3rdly Baby came down with RSV. Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV), which causes infection of the lungs and breathing passages. Henry was coughing last Sunday and I noticed him wheezing on Monday. I took him to the doctor that day to find out that we were in for a terrible week. I am glad that this week is over. On to other news. As far as the germs in the L household they are hopefully gone. I have Lysoled, I have bleached, I have medicated with Vitamin C and Zinc. NOW today it is beautiful outside and we have the windows open. It is a nice 64' outside and I am ready ready READY for Spring!! Dear Spring, Please hurry. Love, LeeAnn Now with Spring comes SPRING CLEANING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cant wait! I do hope that I can throw out a bunch of stuff. I want to get rid of these couches, chair, seat cushions, furniture, CRAP! Then, I would like to take the money that we make from there and purchase new stuff! YaY!!! I found this awesome furniture store in HighPoint. I really like his stuff and it is CHEAP, thank you very much! That is why we live in the furniture capital of the world. Now do not get me wrong the furniture is not cheap, BUT, it at a cheap price! love it! Cha ching!

Funny how some things work out... Ill give you some examples...
I go back to work for 1 week. Have an awesome week, and BOOM I'm home today because of this ice. Seriously?! Really?!

I am a hairdresser. I am a trained professional, I know that you loose hair after having a baby. I tell people all the time, "its ok.. Its normal".. IF I LOSE ANY MORE FREAKING HAIR I'M GOING TO BE BALD! ( Which would be alright I have someone very close to me going through some stuff and SHE is bald... she is HAWT bald!)

I cant get my car out of the driveway, the hill I live on is slick as a wet booger you just pulled out of your nose!! HAHAHAHAHHAHAHA Leave it to me... How do I know that you ask... My husband told me! HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHA! Cars are going up and they are sliding back down... Some have gotten up the hill, but Im not feeling to froggy today. It will be another day of online looking around and shopping, wiping the drool monsters chin. I swear I keep him slathered in Vaseline because I wipe his chins so much Im afraid he will get chapped chins.

Henry is teething I think, and I'M HOME all day with him... he is one cranky yankbel. (yankbel: 1/2 yankee and 1/2 rebel)

Today will be another day that I get to play with my camera. Although it is too much work to get Henry dressed, bundled, dressed again for the outside to have him sit there and cry because he is too hot in his outerwear. The picture will not come out right and it will be tears that Ill have to hear for like the next 2 hrs til he calms down again... yeahhhh not feeling it. Ill just take his picture sitting in his bouncy and looking at the snow from inside.... Much better!

Is it me or does the homeless guy Ted Williams look like your president? I'm not being funny, I seriously see resemblance, AND if you hear them talk they kinda sound like each other..

New Years was good. It came, and it went. I do not believe in setting resolutions because they are almost never kept. SO, I signed back up for weight watchers. Henry has "MADE" me gain some poundage around where I didn't have poundage before. SO, hopefully that will be gone soon. It worked before I'm sure it will work again. If not Its alright Ill be a fat happy cow.

Like the Blog name change?? I think that I'm going to change it. Its hard to write about a precious babe and have the blog name be And you wonder why I have so many mood swings... Yeahhhhh, not feeling it anymore.

Christmas was fantastic.. and I'm glad to say that it is over!! We had a white Christmas for the first time since 1969. I have to say that it was quite beautiful. I missed my sales today, but I will get them tomorrow! We have hung out here today and I was on uber clean. TOO BAD my Christmas Tree is still up.. I really really wanted to take that down BUT since the snow we couldn't get to the storage room to get the boxes to load it up... TOMORROW !!!!!

This is so cute.
Henry is sitting up now. He pulls himself up from a laying in my arms position to sitting up. Is he supposed to do that before he rolls over? He is getting over a cold that he has had. Silly germies got my little man! all the more to build his immune system! CHRISTMAS IS COMING THIS WEEK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ITS LIKE IN 3 DAYS!!! I told Ken we could open gifts and he says NO that we have to wait. Come on Christmas for 1 very good reason... I will get my living room somewhat back on the 26th. The tree is coming down, Christmas will be no more at the L household!!! Ugh.. For 2011, there are going to be quite a few changes! That will be a post for next week. I have to store them in my librainey!

Anybody get the magazine Real Simple? Im thinking of getting it next year. I really like it.. Along with Our State.. I like that one too. Ok well while little man is asleep I have to get baking. Ken took the wrong tupperware this morning so I have to make all those cookies again, OF course I went to the store this morning to find that they have NO MORE Bakers White chocolate. Nice huh.. these cookies will get a powdered sugar frosting instead of chocolate... Oh well.. Enjoy the pictures.. .

We had Henry's Baptism this weekend. Thank you to all the family that traveled this far during a hectic time of the year! Ken and I appreciate it. It was an adventurous day. We went to Grandover after the ceremony for brunch. I will say Ken and I will be going back there it was freaking awesome food! It was the best of both worlds!

Alright... so I made this blog appear before the other one so I hope that you read this one.. If not Ill put some pictures in so I know that you will..Take a peek at this.. Day 23 Favorite Vacation

I went to a Chinese restaurant years ago. I eat some yummy food, talk with friends, then the time comes for the fortune cookies!!! Its my favorite part because it is like a little bit of a surprise inside that cookie! Well I picked mine and then opened them with friends It said :

I just love that saying!! It is on my fridge to this day. I have had it for many many years!! All vacations are my favorite!! You know I especially love the Beach!

My favorite city would have to be New York of course!! I love it there! The crowded streets, the smell of the cars hustling and bustling, hot dogs cooking on the side of the street. People rushing past you because they are late for the train.. Grand Central. the Bakeries... oh I could go on and on... I also love Washington DC.

Day 17 something I am looking forward too...

I can honestly say that I have been so excited for a vacation that I look forward to it. it comes and then boom it is over. So I choose to look foward to things that I am going to do the day of. Yes I am excited about Christmas coming. I am excited about eating a big ole turkey on Thanksgiving with all my favorite fixins. I am excited about the baby baptism on the 5th. I get to see family that live out of state.

I dont want to look forward to much because we never know what can happen in an instant. Someone could not get great news about their health. A paycheck that you look forward to may not show up. I refuse to look forward to anything that is more then 48 hrs. I may be excited about it but I wont look forward to it for fear it would/could/may or may not happen.

All I can say is that I hope that you are excited about day 18 post.

Today is Dream House day!!! day 16.

WELL to start out saying that we all will have dreams! I dream of alot of things. Are they just dreams or are they wants? Our wants sometimes turn into needs. Well, after looking for my dream house I found a WHOLE lotta things I want. Nothing that I need! Alright let me paint a picture for you if you are interested if you aren't, Lorraine, please skip to the pictures.

The picture in my head is this:

It would look something similar to this. This is a Craftsman style home. I love it! I think it screams Old Fashioned and well that I am!! I am an old soul as some would say.
The house would have large sitting areas, large spread out bedrooms, a staircase that goes up and then turns to the left then straightens back up. That is where the kiddies will be. The master bedroom will be on the main floor away from the house activities!

This here is 1 of hundreds of kitchens that I like. Of course if it were really mine I would NEED to have it customized just for moi!

OH MY GOSH 30 days have never been so long...
Ok today is Day 14. Not consecutively but, for blog purposes it is day 14, A picture that I love!

I love all my pictures! I love the ones that got me an Honorable Mention, the one that won Third place. I love the one of our child as the doctor held him up in all his nastiness as he came out of my body, the pictures of the dogs, my parents, Blake, Ken and I on our first trip together. Pictures are a way to preserve the memory to keep it going. you may not remember something until you see a picture, or smell a familiar smell etc... It was hard to pick out 1 favorite picture, so I picked out many!

This is my most favorite picture. The one with the heartbeat is my second favorite. This is the very first picture of our little guy.

Our first picture together. I wanted one but I didnt want to take it for fear he would think it was stupid. SO I had a friend do it and I was like noooo you dont have to take a picture, and KEN said yeah take it I want one!! AWWWWWWWW

I loved my bunny cake! I think in all my 25 yrs of having Birthdays this cake is my favorite! You did a good job MOM!

Today is Day 10. Something that I am afraid of.

I'm afraid of several things... First and foremost I am afraid of CLOWNS! They are EVIL! I will not take little man to a circus. I will not expose him to the evilness of a clown. They do not make me happy. smile. laugh. they are stupid to me!

OK now on a serious note I'm afraid of other things too... Like movies that are real life scary. Not like Friday the 13th. Halloween Michael Myers. Nightmare on Elm St. Yes those were frightening movies... not so much that made me afraid. Movies like When a Stranger Calls. That movie to this day I have not seen the end too. You all know the movie.. It is set in the 70's. It has Carol Kane in it, and she is babysitting for this family for the first time. This is before caller ID, cell phones, and when babysitting actually meant that you could talk on the phone all night long. I did it. I ordered pizza and crank called people because well I could. I can only tell you what happens up until the part where she goes into the kitchen, because she hears a noise. TO THIS DAY I have not seen past it. I cant... JUST GO CHECK ON THE DAMN CHILDREN GIRL! ohhhh I cant watch it!! The anxiety I had when I looked it up on YouTube just now, my heart started pounding and I now know it was a mistake for me to try to watch it at 9:07 at night. Ill be up all night because I will FREAK myself out over it. Ill think to myself what was that noise.. I need to go check on my child... that is literally what I'm afraid of! I have learned to deal with the clown thing but I canNOT deal with when a stranger calls!

I cant even think right now what other things I'm afraid of because of that STUPID Movie right now... Geez I should have left it buried deep in my Librainy. ( that is my Brain Library ) Ill explain my Librainy later. just remind me to tell you about it!

Day 8 of the 30 day challenge

Day 8 A place that I have been.

Well I have been lots of places. We can talk all day about places that I have been and the things that we have seen. I personally would love to go to more places. Italy, Ireland, Hawaii, France, Eastern part of Canada, etc...
I have seen some of the most beautiful mountains, waterfalls that would take your breath away. There is a place in upstate NY that will make you feel like we ( the people) are a gnat on an ant.
There is a spot at the beach in Cherry Grove that we used to call the point. It was where you could just walk out when the tide was low to the other side and find all these different looking sea shells, hermit crabs (that weren't in a store), horseshoe crabs.. some one found a sand dollar one time.

A place is where I put some of my favorite things. I have this wooden box that holds pictures of my father, old boyfriends, letters from my Granny along with letters from my Nonna. I have a picture in there of Blake. I have to add a picture of Ken and a picture of Hank.

There is a place in my heart for things. I have a special place for Hank. When I give him his bottle that little place melts. Also, when he has real tears falling it tugs on that special place in my heart because I feel bad for him. Poor baby!

Place... the place I'm going to go to right now is the Kitchen to feed this hungry boy I have so he can sleep peacefully through the night!!!

I went to see this movie in November 1987. I have seen it 1,000,999,001 times since. I know every line. This just happens to be one of my favorite parts.. All you have to say is "I carried a watermelon" and immediately people know what movie you are talking about.

Day 5 and 6 of the 30 day Challenge. PLUS some beach

30 day Challenge day 6. A picture of something that makes me feel good. The ocean makes me feel good. My exhusband used to say that he liked going to the beach with me because I was in such a better mood. HA so true, but in reality it was him who I was miserable because of. HAHAHA Anyhoo... The beach. I think it has to do with the fact that I am a picses. The water, whether it be an ocean, or a lake, I feel happy. It is a chance for everything that is on my mind for it to drift away with the tide. Im at total peace with myself, the world, my job, my headaches anything that is on my mind, it goes away. I always wanted to live at the beach from Memorial Day to Halloween. From Thanksgiving to Easter I want to live in Colorado on a ski slope. 1 year. Thats all I would like to take off of my life is 1 year. Not now. I have a kid, and a husband. I have a new Happy. The ocean will always have my heart! Stay tunned tomorrow for Favorite Movies!!!!

30 day Challenge day 5. Siblings:
While I was here at the beach I jump on to my mothers computer and, I decided to upload a picture of my Sibling. This is my sibling Bryce and his fiance Teresa. They will be getting married on May 22, 2011. We are so very excited. My sibling and I have had very different lives. Where I went left, Bryce went straight,around a curve, up a hill and through the woods. In those woods he was in, he found out what he needed to do to get out of those woods. He has been out of the woods for 2 years. He has met a very nice young woman and we are excited to have her part of our family. They live in a nice neighborhood with no woods around.

ALSO We went to the beach today and I took little man on a photo shoot. I think he did very well. Yankees didn't do so well baby. Maybe next year!

His toesies in the water. He loved it. He said he cant wait to come down here next summer and go swimming! Cant you tell he loves it...

30 Day Challenge Day 4

Day 4 is talking about my Parents.

My Parents. Parents. What to write about? I have no idea. Lets see.... Bill and Doreen became my parents on March 6th. From what I can remember I had a happy childhood. When I was a teen it got a tad tricky, but nothing that they couldn't handle of course. That means I was put in my place no if's and's or but's. As I look back to those days I remember thinking "If my kid ever wants gum Im going to buy it for them." If my kid ever wants to go to the movies with friends to a 9:00 show I'm going to let them." Well.. I had a car when I was 15. I had to pay for gas. Everything else was taken care of. I had a roof over my head. I had clothes on my back and food in my belly. I cried when they wouldn't let me go to a concert in the 7th grade because I had gotten a D on a test. I was layed out across my parents bed getting a spanking from my father when I was 14 yrs old because I got caught sneaking out of the house. When I came home drunk at the beach I got punished with my hangover instead of getting tv taken away. BELIEVE me... my parents didn't let me get by easily.. Ill explain that one to you personally if you want to hear it. When I came home from Spring Break and showed my father the pictures he said " where are the other 13 pictures.? " Me: huh what are you talking about those are it... Him: No a roll of film has 26 pictures.. where are the other 13.? Instead of me being smart and say they didn't come out. I was caught in a lie and I didn't want any punishment so I showed him the other 13 pictures. Me holding cans of Budweiser wasn't that bad.. Who knew 1 case of beer would last me all week....

All in all I think my parents looking back now were pretty right on target. I don't have therapy because of them. I grew up not thinking that I get everything I want because I want it. I grew up to be a pretty stable adult. Now that I have a kid I can take what my parents did for me and do it for him. Day 3 is talking about my first love.....

First I want to start with my friend Webster. He says that Love is a strong affection for another, arising out of kinship or personal ties (2) : attraction based on sexual desire : affection and tenderness felt by lovers (3) : affection based on admiration, benevolence, or common interests.

So I have thought about this post all night and so far all day. What was I going to write about? Lets start out about 14 yrs ago..... 14 yrs ago I was sitting in front of a priest and he asked me if there was only 1 person I could ever love. I said no. Well, my husband to be said that was wrong. I should love him and only him. We had this huge fight because I said that I could love other people. We got married on September 14, 1996. Our divorce was final on October 3, 2002. I have loved again.. they actually have nothing to do with my life now so there for they aren't even worth mentioning. All I can say is I have a great love now. Ken and I got married June 13, 2009. We had a greater "Love" together on October 1, 2010. Seeing as I can love more then 1 person I think I can first love more then 1 thing...

So my "First Loves" are as follows.....
I love Love Love LOVE the beach. I get Coastal Living so that I can get decorating ideas for the Beach house I don't have. I love my camera. I love my job. I love Fall. Decorating for Fall is my favorite. I think it is because all the scents I love comes alive in the fall.... Wood burning stoves, the smell of chili on the stove when it is cold outside...Halloween!!!

There are so many more loves that I can share but the most important love that I want to share is the love that I have for the human being that MY body grew. My first husband and I divorced because I could not give him a child. It wasn't the reason we used in court BUT deep down a woman knows why. I went through countless infertility treatments. 1 year of my life that I will never get back, wasted on infertility. Was it actually wasted? who knew that 11 yrs later, I would be married and in love with someone new, and have a baby totally by chance. No infertility drugs, no nothing. just plain and simple love. I look at his hands while I feed him and he holds on to my pinkie, squeezes just so and looks at me with total trust! That I think is my FIRST Love. Although I was just an incubator for 9 months because he looks NOTHING like me.. he looks just like his daddy. That doesn't matter.. I think his daddy is HAWT! Who knows what may happen in our years to come. I can honestly say that if I ever have to love again, the man will have to be something out of a fairy tale. I think I already have the best right now and I don't see how I can ever get better then him.

This is Day 2 of my 30 Day Challenge. The meaning behind my Blog Name.

Well, And you wonder why I have so many mood swings was born, after people at my work told me that I need to be on medication! SO, I was on medication and then I hated it because I didnt want to depend on a little white pill to make me somewhat balanced. I could care less of the big things in my life that happened, I cared more about why in the hell the little pot was on the bottom and the big pot was sitting on the little pot in the cabinet. I mean HELLO little pot goes in big pot so everything is organized. Geez... It took my husband who had a near death experience to tell me to lighten the &%$* up. ( I still like an organized kitchen...I just dont say anything anymore and I move the damn pot myself )
So I created my blog so that I could get some sanity. If you read older posts you will see what goes on in my little head. I especially like the August Post in 2007. Delta Airlines.. For anyone who knows me knows about that Delta post. poor Delta.. we havent taken a flight with them since.
Everything on my mind about this blog is in my head when Im in the shower. As I sit here in front of the computer, I have baby Mozart playing and the gentle sound of a baby swing I cant think of one thing to really write about the name behind my blog. So wondering about why I have so many mood swings will have to be determined at a later date... Im sure as you read you will understand my little rants and begin to laugh at them as I have learned how to do. Happy mood swing reading!

Ok Day 1 : Recent picture and Introduce:

This is Hank. He is the recent in our lives so there for, this is my recent picture and my introduction. We still have little sleep at night, but in the words of Darius Rucker... " It won't be like this for long " Great song. I danced with Hank this morning as I listened to it. Made me tear a bit. That is nothing I cry these days at the flush of a toliet.

15 Interesting Facts:

1. I secretly like Barry Manilow. I can belt out his tunes in the car and pretend that Im on stage with him. No one sings better then me in my car!

2. I miss my job. Im out for the next 2 months and I am going NUTS!

3. I have a wonderful Hubby who supports me and my crazy mood swings. He deals well with the tears and all the smiles!

4. I hope to be a great mother. I had a great teacher.

5. I dont go anywhere without lipstick.

6. When I read a book I sometimes read in a different voices as my characters in the book. when they yell i yell in my head of course.

7. My Husband is a sports FANATIC and has sports on all the time. OR Seinfeld, and sometimes I just want to watch Food Network. Watching it in the other room loses it for me. I like to watch TV with him.

8. I would love to have another home. Right now it does not look promising to get one.

9. When I cook in the kitchen, I pretend that Im on a cooking show.

10. I sleep on 100% cotton pillowcases. They have to be worn. they have to have a certain "feel" to them. I have a closet full of then upstairs and if there is ever a fire besides my family, I would reach for the pillowcases, my camera and my pictures. Lipstick too of course.( it is safe to say that my family will already be outside. )

11. I love my camera. I love looking through the lens and seeing life through it. If in my next life I get to choose what I want to be, I would choose photographer!

12. I love boot scooting to country music. At a run down country bar. with a wooden dance floor and the more the red neck the more I LIKE IT!

13. I wished for my husband.

14. My wish came true. I got a man with no feet!

New Toy!!!

We are now in swing motion! Thank you very much Aunt Kerry and Uncle Tim! We put Hank in the swing tonite and within 2 minutes he was OUT! That swing and a full tummy and we are in business.... Can a baby sleep in his swing all night? This one runs off AC power not battery! Us likey!! Now we are fortunate to have a swing at the beach and a swing at home! Love IT!

Well flip me over and call me Cole Slaw!!
Whew I smell good. Cabbage, bra, tube top, tank top, shirt , and I still smell the cabbage. Nice.... Ken thinks I would make a great Eve with cabbage instead of Fig Leaves.

The first night with Hank at home is gladly OVER! Geez. He was stressed, I was stressed, the dogs were stressed. The second night was much better. He is used to his new surroundings now, and we have an understanding that mommy needs to rest.
My tummy is healing nicely and from what I gather the scar is good too. C section is exactly what they showed us on the TV in our parenting class. It is an easy way to give birth. BUT it is slightly harder to recover. Will I do it again? Not right now. I am very sore not on or near my incision, it is where they pushed on my tummy to get him out. Since he wasn't in the birth canal, he was not descending properly. My pelvis was not spreading for him to get out. Plus, he was face up and not face down. All in all it has been a great experience and I would not trade it for anything. I am going to put the pics in order so they will start out with me on Thursday night at the hospital and continue to the day we bring him home. Enjoy!!

Babe update....

We will call the hospital tonite and go in when they tell me to be there. I will go on cervidil, and then I will be induced tomorrow when the Doctor breaks my water.
So Ill let you know when I know... Ya'll have a good day and our babies birthday will be 10-01-10. I dont have to push a bunch of numbers, just 2!! Come on out little boy!!!

I slept through the night!! I slept through the night. Yeaaaaa for me.. I got up once and went to the bathroom, but, then I WENT RIGHT back to SLEEP!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hopefully that is a good sign meaning my body is getting rest because I am going to go into labor myself today.? Maybe? wishful thinking I know..

I have vacuumed...
I have made Apple Crisp.. not following a recipe. Totally by chance...
Last but not least, I have watched the clock....
MY GOODNESS when in the world is this child going to grace us with his presence?? I am past my due date. it was the 25th I found out yesterday, so that means that I am overdue. NOW my Drs office wont let me go past 41 weeks.. well that is Saturday so it looks as though I will be induced on Friday. J.O.Y. I knew it... Something told me I would not have control over this and the control freak I am I WANT IT
And I cant have it!

So I sit here and ponder the time away with frivolous things.. I think tommorrow I will count the flies that come into the house through the sliding galss doors in the kitchen.

They hooked me up to the monitor this morning. It seems that they had my due date wrong. I am actually over my due date. I was "due" on the 25th. So now, I am waiting on a cal from the doctors office to schedule an induction. SO I hope that I go into labor by myself. What they do is we pick a day which I will pick Friday night if it is available, to go into the hospital. First thing Saturday morning they will start a Pitocin drip. They want me there Friday night so that I can get comfortable and everything. We will see... tonite Ken and I are going to go eat some Mexican food, and then come home to have some "Mommy Daddy" time and then we will see if that doesn't start something rolling . The Doctor I want is on call tonite and Thursday and this weekend. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good wishes for this week!!

Oh my... After my Dr's visit yesterday I had some discomfort, and I'm sure that was because she was literally up to her elbows in my body. ( or so it felt ) My feet are looking much better honestly since I haven't been on them as much. My feet really is the only place that the swelling has gone.. I mean EVERYTHING on my body is "swollen" but me feet were bad. I'm almost at this point right now just to induce labor. I have heard that it is the way to go to start loosening and softening:

Today I think will be a day of going to Khols. Only because I have a 30% coupon. I don't really need anything but by God I'm going to go because I have a coupon. for 30% OFF no doubt. Then I'm going to come on home and watch some TV.

Oh good gracious... I'm off to go to Khols.

I'm as tight as a tick on a dogs neck in the heat of summer! Not a darn thing is happening... Zilch... Nada....Closed up tight... So meanwhile, I'm sitting here... reading... watching TV.... and not working. I wish I could be working. Ken is not a fan of it, he was ready for me to leave a couple of weeks ago... Between you and I, I think he was tired of rubbing my Fiona's. He is also tired of me saying: "feel the baby he is kicking" hahahaha I saw this cartoon and well I thought it was funny...

How many pillows do you sleep with? I sleep right now with 6. 1 on each side. 3 for my head.. all spread out of course. 1 at my feet to help elevate them so I'm not Fiona feet til about 8am rather then at 6:45am.

This is what I came downstairs too this morning. We don't allow them upstairs anymore. I cant take the hair everywhere. SO they have made it a habit to sleep on the bed down here. When we move back downstairs we will have a new comforter and a block off so they cant get into the room.

Has anyone seen my ankle bone? It is gone, and I dont know where to find it. Please tell me if you see it walking around bodyless...

I made this tasty treat tonite. You know I needed something without salt because as we all know in the above picture I am no longer able to have salt. I love, love, LOVE chex mix. I couldnt have it because of the soy sauce, the season salt, the garlic salt, ( the garlic powder doesnt taste as good ) or the onion salt> ( again the onion powder was not that good ) SO, I did this instead:

Chex Mix
2c wheat, rice, and corn chex
1c peanuts or whatever to taste
1c nabs ( cheese nips )
6tbls of butter ( salted or no salt.. I used no salt but I prefer salt)
2 1/2tbls of hot sauce. ( Texas Pete is what I had )
1 packet of ranch dressing powder.

heat butter, hot sauce, and ranch in sauce pan.
Pour over the chex dry mixture and bake for 1 hr on 250' stirring every 15 min.

Got the car seats installed in the car. Now all we need is baby... 2 more weeks left for work and then I am off to await the arrival of my little soccer, tantrum, football kicker. My little drum beating on my bladder, boy!!!

Wouldn't you know it.. The first year that we have a beach house, and I could only go down 4 times... I could not sit in the sun for very long... And EARL is heading straight for us...That's alright though, we will go down in October to dip his little toesies in the ocean water..
